The Pulse and Echo smartpens are computers inside of pens that record audio and link the audio to what you are writing. I am the official voice of the pens, giving the user menu commands and audio instruction.

Every day at a startup can be different than the previous, and during my stint at LS I took the helm or assisted the team in a wide variety of capacities.

I developed the “out-of-box” experience for the launch of the product, creating in-box tutorials, guides, and audio playlets. Writing and voicing ads and web content were a regular occurrence, and my art skills were put to the test when I drew and voiced animations to populate the community site upon its launch.

Additionally I headed up product placement efforts, helping get the smartpen into TV shows like NBC’s spy comedy Chuck.
